At the beginning of the year Jo & I moved churches. After attending Subiaco Church for more than 15 years between us, we left there in January & started attending Metro Church. This move has been a good one & we are both very happy at our new church home.
We did promise our old church family at Subiaco that we'd visit every now & then though, as we still have some wonderful friends there. Of course now that we have our new baby Chloe, everyone was itching to see her for the first time as well.
So this morning we went along to Subi Church for the later (10:30am) service. As soon as we got there we were surrounded by old friends wanting to greet us & see baby Chloe. Poor Jo spend the majority of the service in the parents room feeding & settling the baby, but thankfully was able to see & hear the service on the monitors.
After the service, we were overwhelmed by more people wanting to catch up with us, which was really good, as we have not seen these people since Christmas. Overall it was an enjoyable morning.
Do you ever go somewhere you haven't been in a while & see old friends you haven't seen? It's always good to catch up with old friends. It can be a chance to reignite the old flame that can start to dim after a while.
