Will we ever be satisfied?

We've just had a couple of days of good rainfall here in Perth. The gardens & lawns are starting to green up again, & more rain is forecast on & off for the next week.

Many people, including the farmers who have suffered major drought are still saying that it is not enough. I can understand their situation, especially when it's their lively hood at stake.

At the same time, some parts of NSW (Sydney) have experienced major flooding over the past fortnight. Some say it's the worst they've ever seen & they've had enough of it.

The thing I find is that there is always too much or too little. People never seem to be satisfied with what they get. Some want more, while others want less.

Now while we have no control over the weather patterns, we all think we know best. My question is, isn't some rain better than none at all??
